⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Absolutely Exceptional Tour of Antigua! 🇦🇬🌴☀️

We had the most incredible 6+ hour tour exploring the whole island of Antigua with Exquisite Taxi & Tours, and honestly, we couldn’t recommend them highly enough!

From the moment Janel picked us up, the experience was incredibly special. It was my mum’s birthday, and Janel had gone above and beyond by decorating the taxi with beautiful birthday balloons. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the day feel extra special. We were also greeted with bottled water and refreshments when we arrived, which was a lovely welcome. The taxi itself was so comfortable and the sliding doors felt like luxury.

The tour itself was phenomenal. Over the course of more than six hours, we travelled around the island and visited Nelson’s Dockyard, Betty’s Hope, Devil’s Bridge and Pigeon’s Point, and so much more! We saw so many different parts of Antigua and learned so much about the island’s history, culture and people along the way. The knowledge shared throughout the day was incredible, and we were genuinely fascinated by everything we learned. We spent an hour on the beach of Pigeon’s Point which was so delightful and a beautiful beach.

One of our favourite parts was stopping along the way to sample local produce, including delicious Antiguan mangoes and starfruit. It made the experience feel so authentic and gave us a real taste of the island.

Janel was so friendly, warm and knowledgeable, and the whole journey was incredibly smooth and relaxed. What we particularly loved was how the tour was tailored around what we wanted to see and do, rather than feeling rushed or like we were simply following a set itinerary.

And then, to finish the day, we headed to Shirley Heights to watch the most breathtaking sunset. 🌅 It was the perfect ending to an already amazing day. Janel even prepared delicious food and rum punch for us to enjoy while taking in the spectacular views. Sitting there, looking out over Antigua as the sun went down, was genuinely unforgettable. ❤️

From start to finish, everything was exceptional - the organisation, the hospitality, the knowledge, the personal touches and, most importantly, the people. We even got pictures and a personalised video sent to us to end our day!

If you’re visiting Antigua and want to see the whole island in one incredible day, learn about its history and experience it with people who genuinely care about making your day special, we would absolutely recommend Exquisite Taxi & Tours.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Jenel! We booked multiple trips for our group of 12 over the course of a full week, and she was outstanding from start to finish. From our very first inquiry, Jenel was incredibly quick to reply to messages and always very clear and precise with her responses, making the planning process completely stress-free. Throughout the week, Jenel was always punctual, professional, and incredibly accommodating. Even with a large group, her vehicle was always spotless, neat, and very clean, making our daily travels incredibly comfortable. What really set these trips apart was Jenel's willingness to detour from the planned itineraries just to show us extra sights and make our experience even more memorable. The highlight of our holiday — absolutely brilliant!

We had the most amazing day touring Antigua with Janel, and honestly, it was one of the absolute highlights of our entire holiday!

Janel is everything you could want in a tour guide. From the moment we met her, her enthusiasm and love for her beautiful home island were infectious. She has such an incredible knowledge of Antigua and shared so much with us about the island, its history and its culture, making the whole experience really interesting from start to finish.

But what really made the day so special was Janel herself. She is kind, funny, warm and so easy to talk to — it genuinely felt like spending the day with a friend rather than being on a tour! Her sense of humour had us laughing, and her passion for Antigua shines through in everything she does.

The whole tour was fantastic and gave us such a wonderful experience of the island. If you're visiting Antigua and want to see more than just your hotel or resort, I honestly couldn't recommend Janel highly enough.

If you're traveling to Antigua make sure you book Janel with Exquisite Taxi and Tours Antigua is hands-down the best tour guide on the island! She drove us to three consecutive nights of cricket and showed us around St. John’s, including a fantastic trip through the local city market. Her energy is infectious, her driving is excellent, and she knows Antigua inside and out. She handled all our transport smoothly so we could just relax and enjoy the fun. 10/10 recommendation you definitely want to book with Janel!

We were docked in Antigua over night so 2 days to enjoy what Antigua had to offer with no plan in place. Upon leaving the ship there are people shouting "TAXI" you are bombarded with taxi drivers one after the other promising the best deals and places they can take you. (felt slightly intimidating) We just kept saying “no thank you” and kept walking, as we headed away from the duty free area just beyond the shops we met Janel with a gorgeous smile and "Hi, can I help you with anything?" (no pressure) It was like it was meant to be, we told her what we fancied doing (Nelsons Dockyard and Shirley Heights then maybe a beach) and she gave us a price, then gave us space to chat between us and decide what we wanted to do. Now for the journey........ Her taxi was a 7 seater people carrier so plenty of room for the 4 of us. It was air conditioned and very clean, as soon as we set off Janel started to tell us about Antiguas culture and it’s history, as we passed different places she told us all about it. After a very short time of chatting to her it felt like we had known her for years, her personality and sense of humour was infectious and her knowledge of the island was amazing. She is also a very safe driver. When dropping us off she gave clear instructions of where we needed to go and what we needed to do, she also arranged where we could find her when we had finished looking around. After an amazing time at English Harbour visiting Nelsons Dockyard and Shirley Heights Janel said she would drop us off at a lovely beach, WOW Pigeon Point Beach which was beautiful and not over crowded. Janel then dropped us off where we had been picked up, what a fantastic time we had!! (payment is made at the end of your return journey) Day 2 and we hadn’t made any plans, our granddaughter was desperate for some beach time so we had a leisurely morning then headed off out. We hadn't arranged anything with Janel but found luck on our side as she had just returned from a beach drop off. Her help was very much appreciated when it came to choosing which beach, travelling with our granddaughter she explained that Jolly beach had a lovely beach, calm waters and great for swimming/snorkelling also not over crowded. We arranged with Janel a pickup time and as we walked back to the car park we could see she was already waiting. Once again she told us more about the places we were passing, the service she provides is outstanding. All I can say is you won’t regret booking with Janel and we can't wait to return back to Antigua and we will definitely be booking with Janel in advance next time. My Antigua tour
Janet was our tour guide when we got off our Virgin Voyages cruise in St. John’s, Antigua. Myself and four friends wanted to explore the island, and from the start, her calm approach made us feel completely comfortable. We felt safe, well cared for, and genuinely welcomed by Janet. In just a 4-hour tour, she showed us so much of the island. Her personality was amazing — it honestly felt like we’d known her for years. One of the fun surprises was when she took us to a Jamaican restaurant… yes, in Antigua lol! If you’re visiting Antigua, I highly recommend trying to get Janet as your guide. She made my Antigua experience the highlight of the five islands we visited during the cruise. I’ll definitely be going back to Antigua soon, and I’ll absolutely be booking Janet again.

Great Day With Janel
We were recommended this company by our cousin who had used them the year before. It was just the 2 of us and we booked a whole day tour. We didn’t really have any fixed ideas about where we wanted to go and so we let Janel suggest the itinerary. It was a good day out and we got to visit all the major sights and stops of interest in Antigua. Janel had bought some black pineapple with her for us to try and also a few beers for us to have on the way! She was lovely, very friendly and with a good sense of humour. If you’re going to do a trip across Antigua, do it with Janelle from Exquisite tours. I’d say it’s the best excursion we’ve been on to date. Feeding giant tortoises, swimming with and feeding stingrays, visiting Nelson’s Dockyard,  Devils Bridge, Shirley Heights, a plantation and touring the island, eating sugar cane and drinking rum punch. The ultimate holiday experience and Janelle is a fantastic tour guide. So informative and interesting! Whatever you do, don’t book a tour through your cruise ship, go with Janelle instead. You will love it. 🌞😃🤗

Thanks to her, we also visited places on the island that are usually not as frequently visited, which gave us a deeper cultural insight and allowed us to get to know the island better.

The price was absolutely fair compared to other offers, especially since we had a private tour.
